Postpartum care

known as the 4th trimester, the first forty days of the postpartum period are deeply vulnerable and sacred.

prioritizing support during this time can make a life long difference in you and your family’s emotional and physical wellbeing.

support looks different to everyone, and each person in your system has their specific role to play. it’s my intention to help support each person to play their roles, and fill in where there may be support missing from your village.

this support is carefully tailored to you and your family’s needs, together we will decide how often you need visits and how long they should be.

visits can include:

  • birth experience processing

  • comforting touch and warm oil massage

  • light housework (laundry, dishes)

  • home-cooked meals

  • daytime infant care support
